Bittermilk recreated this gentlemen's cocktail mixer by using classic bittering agents like gentian root and cinchona bark along with burnt sugar, spices and a bit of orange peel. Their non alcoholic old fashioned syrup ages in Willett bourbon barrels to allow the flavors to come together and ramp up the intensity. It is super concentrated so a little bit goes a long way.

- 1 part No. 1 Old Fashioned
- 4 Parts rye or bourbon
- lots of ice
- stir & pour into a cocktail glass
- garnish with an orange peel
- also pairs well with soda water for mocktails and non-alcoholic drinks
