What Items are Accepted for Return or Exchange

Secondhand items that are sold on consignment cannot be returned.  These items include all apparel, handbags, shoes, accessories, and some of the jewelry.  To determine whether a jewelry item is being sold on consignment, please refer to the item's product page.  If at the bottom of the page it says "PRE-LOVED", then it is a consignment piece and it cannot be returned.

 

New gift items (ie. not secondhand consignment merchandise) may be returned if unused and unaltered within 30 days of the purchase date. These items include all beauty and bath items, candles, journals & cards, kitchen & home decor, and some of the jewelry.  To determine whether a jewelry item is new and eligible for return, please refer to the item's product page.  If it does not say "PRE-LOVED", then it is a new piece and it can be returned. 

 

How to Indicate Whether You Have a Return or Exchange

If you are returning, please note on your packing list the item(s) you are returning and and enclose it in your package.  Skip to the below section titled "How to Mail Your Return or Exchange".

 

If you are exchanging, please indicate on your packing list the type of exchange you’d like to make and enclose it in your package. Please note that the shipping charges outlined in our Shipping Policy will be applied to items in exchanged orders.

 




If the cost of your new item is less than that of the item you originally ordered, your original method of payment will be credited the price difference, minus the applicable new shipping fee.

 

If the cost of your new item is more than that of the item you originally ordered, your original method of payment will be charged the price difference, in addition to the applicable new shipping fee.

 



How to Mail Your Return or Exchange

We recommend that you use your own trackable and insured shipping method. Please mail your item(s) to the following address:

RECHIC 101 is not responsible for shipping fees or lost returns. Please obtain a tracking number for your records.

 

What Happens When We Receive Your Return or Exchange

Most returns will process in approximately 1-2 weeks, and most exchanges will process in approximately 2-3 weeks, depending on your method of return. Additional processing delays may occur. You will receive an email when your return or exchange has been processed (be sure to check your spam folder).

For returns and exchanges where you are owed a credit, a refund will be credited back to your original method of payment, and will post approximately two days after the processing date. It may take up to two billing cycles for the credit to appear on your monthly credit card statement.

Gift card purchases will be refunded in the form of another gift card.
