The Bitter Housewife believes that making things from scratch produces better results than store bought and set out to create a product that spoke to women in an intelligent way, something that didn’t intimidate or exclude the novice, but also didn’t talk down to anyone. She wanted to create a brand for herself and her friends – whiskey drinking, fun loving, go-getting women. All of their bitters are made by hand in small batches using real ingredients - fresh citrus peels, whole herbs and spices, and just a touch of organic cane sugar.
